Do we need any vaccines in Sweden?
Vaccines are not needed in Sweden at all. All you have to pay attention to is the presence of ticks. A good protection and sufficient check ups are sufficient.

We require a 30% deposit within 5 days of your registration. The remaining amount should be paid at the latest 30 days before departure.

How much does a fishing permit cost?
You can buy the fishing permit at basecamp on arrival for 200 SEK or 20 euros. With the fishing permit you can fish in all lakes, otherwise it is not allowed!
Do they accept euros in Sweden?
You can pay by bank card anywhere in Sweden, but it wouldn't hurt to bring some Swedish krona with you.
How long does the bus journey take?
The bus ride takes about 20 hours with stops included. Of course everything depends on the traffic and weather conditions.
What is the comfort in the bus like?
Because it's a long bus ride, you'll be travelling on a Royal Class bus. These buses have more legroom than a normal bus and the seats can bend further back. So you can travel to Sweden in comfort!
Are the camping pitches paid for?
The camping pitches are all taken care of. All you need is your nature map, which you will receive on arrival at the basecamp, to be able to spend the night at the shelters and on the islands.

It is quite possible to use hammocks. There are many participants who have used it in previous years, but we always advise you to take a tent because you can never be 100% sure of the weather.
